Dr. Thomas Lee

Dr. Thomas Lee, a pianist originating from Hong Kong and nurtured in the Pacific Northwest, boasts a rich career as both performer and educator. His expertise is invaluable in the realm of piano competitions, where he discerns and elevates exceptional talent. With notable solo performances at renowned venues and victories in esteemed competitions, Dr. Lee brings a discerning eye and deep understanding of musical nuances to his role as a judge. Guided by his mentors, he delves into the intricacies of piano performance, enriching his judging with scholarly insights. As a dedicated educator, Dr. Lee's impact extends beyond adjudication, nurturing aspiring pianists to excel in competitions and pursue their musical dreams. His contributions to the piano competition circuit and his commitment to fostering emerging talent make him an invaluable asset to the musical community.

Dr. Tianyao

Dr. Tianyao Xie is a qualified piano competition judge with extensive experience and expertise in piano performance and education. She has a doctoral degree in piano performance from Boston University and has performed as a concert pianist with various orchestras and musicians.Recently, she performed a series of piano solo concerts and piano trio and violin/piano duo concerts in Rochester, MN. She also performed the Petroushka with the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Oct. 2022. She has also been involved in organizing and participating in several international piano festivals and competitions, such as the International e-Piano Junior Competition . As a piano teacher, she served as an assistant faculty at Boston University .  She has trained many students who have achieved success in worldwide piano competitions and events. She is well-versed in different musical styles, techniques, and interpretations, and can provide constructive feedback and guidance to the contestants.

Dr. Jacqueline Audas

Dr. Jacqueline Audas brings a wealth of artistry and experience to the jury of the competition. A dynamic performer, she has appeared across the United States and internationally, captivating audiences in Israel, Germany, Italy, Spain, and New Zealand. As a laureate of several prestigious competitions—including first prize at the 2017 North International Violin Competition—Jacqueline has proven her technical brilliance and interpretive depth on numerous stages. Her work as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer includes engagements with the Baltimore Symphony, the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players, and the Aspen Music Festival. A dedicated educator and advocate for music's power to inspire change, she is also the founder of Classical C.A.R.M.A., a non-profit that raises awareness and funds for charitable causes through concert performance. Jacqueline holds advanced degrees from the Peabody Institute and Rice University, and her mentorship lineage includes renowned violinists Vadim Gluzman and Paul Kantor. Her insight and musical integrity make her a valued adjudicator.
